Tim Holtz – Creativity in Action

I spotted the wonderful Tim Holtz demonstrating at a recent trade show,  CHSI 2012.
He’s the font of knowledge when it comes to all mixed media. A warm and very generous man who is happy to share all he knows about his art – and he knows a lot !

I’m a long time Stitcher and have only recently discovered his work.
I love his paper based art and find the cross over into fabric based surface design quite exciting.

Kreinik Threads

Last weekend I met Doug Kreinik of Kreinik threads at the CHSI Trade Show in Birmingham and fell in love with his super thread selection. I couldn’t resist making some samples with the Iron-on threads… the  threads came home with me and are currently work in progress.
