Claire Edwards – Meet the Artist

'Rising from the Ashes' couture dress created by Claire Edwards. The Phoenix is all hand beaded.

A little textile inspiration from my YouTube ‘Meet the Artist’ Collection. Today it features the detailed hand embroidery by artist Claire Edwards.

In this YouTube, Claire shares and talks about her latest collection which is based on the coral oceans. She also explains how she created her iconic ‘Rising from the Ashes’ couture dress. Claire’s work has been acknowledged with a number of awards. These include the prestigious award from Hand & Lock plus two awards from the Bradford Textile Society.

Claire is a member of The Society for Embroidered Work.
