‘Take Time to Smell the Roses’ has Won an Award!

I’ve won “First Prize in the Artistic Directors Award Category” for my entry ‘Take Time to Smell the Roses’ in the The Embroiderers’ Guild UK Members’ Challenge. I can’t stop smiling.

All the competition pieces will be shown at The Embroiderers’ Guild AGM in Newcastle this weekend – 6th April 2019 – and at The Knitting & Stitching Shows at Alexandra Palace and Harrogate in Autumn 2019.

At The Knitting and Stitching Show 2018 at Alexandra Palace, I had a chat with Emily Tull about her ‘Ten Years of Markings and Unmarkings’ Exhibition and about her time on the Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year 2014 creating the embroidered picture of Lord Melvyn Bragg.

My YouTube channel is still in its early days – I started it in August 2018 – and the portfolio of wonderful artists in slowly building. This year I’ve lots planned.
