A quilt from the past....

I have been a patchwork and quilter for over twenty years, and I sometimes forget just what I have made. If you ever meet an avid patch-worker, you will find - somewhere in their homes - the biggest pile of bed quilts you can possibly imagine. Well it is the same in my home. I also worked in a Patchwork and Quilting shop for ten years making quilts for the shop and workshop samples too, so my 'pile' is bigger than most. Here is one that I made for my own home, it is used regularly - a utility quilt - and was compiled from all the bits and bobs from many a workshop I have attended. The border is 3D folded Prairie points and the large block at the top is a Kaleidoscope block... the photo was taken at an exhibition quite a few moons ago - those of you who know me will know I am a little older now.
